Here at Schultz & Larsen your safety is of the utmost importance and this is reflected in our rifles with every aspect carefully addressed in both using superior materials and design. In regard to this we would like to ask you to replace you firing pin at one of the Schultz & Larsen dealers. 

The reason for this is that there have been two accidental discharges due to the firing pin braking. No one injured. Bearing in mind that these rifles have had some considerable use one with over 5000 rounds and the owner says just as many dry firings. 

The new firing pin, which will be supplied free of charge, is now made of a different even tougher material.

Rifles that require a new firing pin are:

M97-DL after serial number 50600.

All Classic rifles.

Also remember if you have an extra bolt for switching between Magnum and Standard calibers that you should also change that firing pin as well. 

If you cannot get to a Schultz & Larsen dealer for them to change the firing pin for you we can send the replacement to you. Please email us with your name, address, rifle serial number and if you bought you rifle with and extra bolt.
